The park is famous for its ancient Baobab trees and hosts the largest elephant population in the country, offering unique opportunities to observe their social interactions. A game drive will follow, focusing on areas with recent animal sightings—predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs can be more challenging to spot, while herbivores such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests are abundant.

Later, we will stop at the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy lunch with scenic views of the river and wildlife. Monkeys and baboons may attempt to snatch your food, but there’s no need to worry.

After lunch, we’ll continue the game drive before exiting the park around 4:30 PM, then transfer you to your lodge in Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay.

Optional Maasai Village Visit: You may choose to visit a Maasai village to learn about the traditions of this iconic tribe, historically known for hunting lions to become warriors and consuming raw animal blood—though most of these customs are no longer practiced. Duration: 20–45 minutes.

Serengeti National Park: Covering 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq mi), the Serengeti is renowned for the wildebeest and zebra migration, featuring over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras, whose survival relies on this remarkable partnership. Our focus will be the Seronera area, the central hub of wildlife activity.

Arrive in the late afternoon, enjoy lunch, and embark on a game drive in Seronera, capturing the sunset and observing predators in action if you’re lucky. Later, head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

With a bit of luck, you may spot a rhinoceros, while the crater also hosts numerous resident animals, thanks to its year-round water sources that encourage wildlife to stay within its boundaries, though they are free to move in or out. After the game drive, you will ascend back to the crater rim and return to Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay.
