Ngorongoro Crater
Game Drive and Departure
After breakfast, you’ll set off for Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Your first stop will be at the panoramic viewpoint, where you’ll take in the breathtaking sight of this vast and lush caldera.
Home to over 120 species of mammals, including the legendary Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. It offers excellent chances to spot the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the open plains, as well as large pods of hippos cooling off in the waters.
From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph Africa’s iconic wildlife. The crater is also rich in predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside thriving populations of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and cape buffalos.
You’ll pause for a picnic lunch by the famous hippo pool before driving back to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar.
