Game Drive in Tarangire

We will pick you up from Arusha airport and, after meeting the guide, drive to Tarangire National Park (about 2 hours). The park is well known for its varied landscape, numerous Ancient Baobab trees, and the largest elephant population in the country, offering opportunities to observe elephant family interactions. A game drive will be done through the park based on reported sightings of animals, mainly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, while herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are commonly seen.

Later, we will go to the Tarangire River picnic site to have lunch while enjoying views of the river and animals. Small monkeys and baboons may approach but there is no need for concern.

After lunch, we will continue with the game drive and leave the park at around 4:30 pm.

After the tour, we will drive to Mto Wa Mbu for accommodation at your lodge.

Game Drive and Departure

The Ngorongoro Crater is considered the best wildlife park in Tanzania because of its beautiful crater landscape and the ease of spotting animals.

After an early breakfast, we will go to the Ngorongoro viewpoint to see the amazing scenery. The view is surreal and very impressive.

We will then descend into the crater to look for black rhinos, which are the hardest animals to spot. Most other animals are easier to see here because the area is a crater floor.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the main highlight of Tanzania. It has stunning scenery and a large population of animals. The crater is self-sufficient, so many animals remain inside rather than migrating out. After the tour, we will drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
