This is a group tour where you will travel in a custom safari jeep with a pop-up roof, accompanied by a professional guide/driver. Throughout the safari, you will stay in comfortable midrange lodges, ensuring both adventure and relaxation.
The tour takes you through Tanzania’s famous northern circuit parks. Tarangire National Park, often called a smaller version of Serengeti, is renowned for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant population. Serengeti National Park, the country’s largest and most iconic park, offers endless savannah landscapes and incredible opportunities to witness abundant wildlife, including the great migration (seasonal). Finally, the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the highlight of the trip. Its surreal landscapes and dense wildlife population make it one of the easiest places in Africa to spot animals, including the rare black rhino.
This safari offers plenty of time for game drives, wildlife viewing, and relaxation in the parks, making it an excellent choice for travelers who are truly passionate about exploring Tanzania’s wildlife.
Note: On this tour, you will share only the safari jeep, while accommodation remains private.

Game Drive in Tarangire
We will pick you up from your hotel and, after introductions with your guide and chef, drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours). This park is famous for its diverse landscapes, the abundance of ancient baobab trees, and the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. Tarangire provides unique opportunities to observe the social interactions of elephant families.
Upon arrival, we will embark on a game drive, exploring areas with reported wildlife sightings. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be elusive, but herbivores including giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are abundant throughout the park.
We will stop for lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy scenic river views and observe animals nearby. Small monkeys and baboons may attempt to share your meal, but there is nothing to worry about!
After lunch, the game drive continues until we exit the park around 4:30 PM. We will then transfer to your lodge in Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, we will drive from Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 6 hours, including stops along the way as we pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
We will make a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to admire the breathtaking scenery. This is a perfect spot to take photos and appreciate the surreal landscapes of one of Tanzania’s most iconic natural wonders.
Next, there is an optional visit to a Maasai village, where you can learn about the traditions of the Maasai people. Historically known for hunting lions to be recognized as warriors and drinking raw animal blood, these customs are mostly in the past, though visitors can still gain insight into their rich cultural heritage. (Duration: 20–45 minutes)
Continuing the journey, we will arrive in Seronera, the central region of Serengeti National Park, in the late afternoon. After a light lunch, we will embark on a game drive, exploring the Serengeti plains and observing wildlife up close. If lucky, you may witness a predator hunting or on a kill. Enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Serengeti before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Half Day Game Drive & Departure
After breakfast, drive a short distance to the Ngorongoro Crater gate and descend approximately 650 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a variety of permanent resident animals, and with luck, you may spot the elusive black rhinoceros. The crater’s permanent water sources attract wildlife year-round, making animal sightings easier.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before ascending back to the rim. After the ascent, pick up your luggage and continue the drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
