About this tour

This 3-day group safari (maximum of 6–7 clients) is conducted in a custom safari jeep with a pop-up roof, accompanied by a professional driver/guide and a chef. It offers an incredible opportunity to visit two of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations within a short time and on a budget-friendly plan.

The Serengeti National Park, home to countless predators and the inspiration behind the famous Lion King movie, is renowned for its vast plains and the great wildebeest migration, where over a million wildebeest and thousands of zebras move in search of fresh grazing. If your tour coincides with the migration season, you’ll witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles.

The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” With its stunning landscapes and permanent water sources, the crater provides a natural sanctuary for an incredible density of wildlife, making it one of the easiest places to spot the Big Five.

Note: During this safari, accommodation will be in comfortable midrange lodges, ensuring both adventure and relaxation.

Game Drive

After an early breakfast, you will descend 650 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater is one of the best places in Africa to spot wildlife, and with some luck, you may encounter the rare black rhino. Most animals are relatively easy to see here due to the crater’s open grasslands and permanent water sources.

After enjoying your picnic lunch in the crater, continue with a game drive before ascending back to the rim. You will return to your lodge to collect your belongings and then drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.

Game Drive and Departure

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in search of the endangered black rhino. While rhinos are the most difficult animals to spot here, the crater offers excellent opportunities to view many other species, as the enclosed landscape makes wildlife easier to see.

After lunch, continue with another game drive before ascending the crater and returning to camp to pack up for your journey back to Arusha.
