Mto Wa Mbu Campsite
Game Drive in Tarangire
After being picked up from your hotel and meeting your guide and chef, you will set off on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes. The park is especially famous for its towering ancient baobab trees and for hosting the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering wonderful opportunities to watch elephant families interact.
Your game drive will follow areas with reported wildlife activity, with chances to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are plentiful and can be seen throughout the park.
Around midday, stop at the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy lunch while overlooking the river and surrounding wildlife. Playful monkeys and curious baboons may approach, but there’s no need to worry.
In the afternoon, continue with another game drive before exiting the park around 4:30 pm. Afterwards, head to Mto wa Mbu, where you will spend the night at the campsite.

Take a short break at the gate and viewpoint to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Duration: approx. 20 minutes
Optional Stop: Maasai Village
You may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about the culture of this iconic tribe. Historically, the Maasai were known for practices such as lion hunting and drinking raw animal blood—though most of these traditions are no longer practiced (with the exception of blood drinking). A visit provides an opportunity to gain cultural insights and interact with the community.

Serengeti National Park
Covering 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq mi), the Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras move together in search of fresh grazing, a survival strategy that benefits both species.
Your focus will be on the Seronera region, the heart of the Serengeti. Arrive in the late afternoon, enjoy lunch, and head out for a game drive until evening. Experience the golden Serengeti sunset while observing wildlife up close, and with some luck, you may witness a predator in action. Later, proceed to Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive
Begin your day early at 6:00 am with a hot cup of coffee before heading out for a morning game drive in the heart of the Serengeti. This is one of the best times to spot wildlife as the animals are most active, all while witnessing the beauty of a Serengeti sunrise. The early hours can be quite chilly, so be sure to bring warm clothing.
Continue game viewing until midday, then return to camp for a hearty brunch (combined breakfast and lunch). After your meal, you will pack up and depart the Serengeti, enjoying a game drive en route as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive in the evening at Simba Campsite, located near the crater rim, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Half Day Gme Drive and Departure
On your final day of the Tanzania Safari, after breakfast and carrying a picnic lunch, you will take a short drive to the descent gate and go down 650 meters to the crater floor for a half-day game drive. With some luck, you may spot a rhinoceros. The crater is home to many permanent animals since it has a constant water supply throughout the year, making it a preferred habitat, though wildlife is free to move in and out. After lunch, you will ascend to the crater rim and return to camp, then continue driving to Arusha or directly to the airport.
