Three-day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. A guide/driver and a chef accompany a maximum of 6-7 guests on this group excursion, which is in a specialised safari jeep with a pop-up roof. In a short amount of time and on a budget, this tour brings you to the most well-known wildlife areas in the world, which are home to wild cats. If it’s the right season, you can discover the splendour of the Ngorongoro crater and get a chance to observe thousands of wildebeest during their migration, which is why the renowned Lion King movie was set in Serengeti National Park.

Game Drive in Serengeti
After breakfast, depart from Arusha for the Serengeti, a journey of about 8 hours including several stops as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Stop: Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint
Take a short break at the gate and viewpoint to admire the stunning panoramic views of the crater.
Duration: approx. 20 minutes
Optional Stop: Maasai Village
You may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the culture of this iconic tribe. Historically, the Maasai were known for their unique customs such as lion hunting and drinking fresh animal blood. While many of these practices are no longer followed (except for the blood-drinking tradition), a visit offers cultural insight and interaction.
Duration: 20–45 minutes (not included in the package; optional activity).
Serengeti National Park
Arrive in the Serengeti by late afternoon and enjoy a game drive in the Seronera region, the heart of the park. Witness the sunset over the plains and, with some luck, spot predators hunting or feeding. After the drive, head to the Seronera campsite for the night. From the campsite, it’s common to hear or even spot wildlife such as hyenas, but the area is well-guarded by rangers to ensure safety.

Game Drive and Departure
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in search of the endangered black rhino. While rhinos are the most difficult animals to spot here, the crater offers excellent opportunities to view many other species, as the enclosed landscape makes wildlife easier to see.
After lunch, continue with another game drive before ascending the crater and returning to camp to pack up for your journey back to Arusha.
