About this tour

This 2-day safari takes you to Tarangire National Park and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. The group size is limited to 6–7 clients, each guaranteed a window seat and access to the pop-up roof of the safari jeep for the best game-viewing experience.

The highlight of this tour is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s best wildlife destinations, where animals are easier to spot thanks to the unique landscape and breathtaking scenery. You’ll also explore Tarangire National Park, known as the “home of elephants” due to its large herds. Other wildlife you may encounter include lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, pythons, ostriches, vultures, monkeys, and baboons.

Note: The safari jeep is shared with the group, but accommodation in the midrange lodge is private.

Game Drive in Tarangire

After getting to know the guide and chef, we will transport you to Tarangire National Park, which is renowned for its varied landscape and is a two-hour journey away. We will pick you up from your accommodation. In addition to having the highest concentration of elephants in the entire nation, the park is renowned for its profusion of ancient baobab trees and offers exceptional opportunities to witness the interactions between elephant families. As herbivores (giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc.) are common throughout the park, we will conduct a game drive based on where there have been reports of animal sightings (primarily predators, lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they are more difficult to observe).

Later on, will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river & animals while having lunch, small monkeys & baboons will try to scare you of your lunch but there is nothing to worry about

After lunch will proceed with the game drive and exit the park around 4:30 pm

Destination:

Ngorongoro Crater

Activity

Game Drive and Departure

Because of its stunning scenery and the fact that it is a crater, the Ngorongoro Crater is Tanzania’s best wildlife park.

Following an early breakfast, we’ll travel to the Ngorongoro viewpoint to take in the breathtaking vista. It’s so strange that it will leave you speechless for a time.

After that, we’ll head down the crater to search for the black rhinos. Since the crater is a floor crater, most animals will be easier to see from this park, but rhinos are the hardest to locate in the stunning crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is Tanzania’s most famous park; it has the most breathtaking landscape and is home to many species. The crater itself provides for its inhabitants, preventing them from migrating outside of it.
